How Quotes Work (Generate Quote, Redeem Quote, Quote Expiry)
Liqwifi uses quotes to calculate and confirm conversions between NGN and crypto (USDT or USDC).

Two-step conversion flow
Step 1. Generate quote
You request a quote by selecting:
From currency
To currency
From amount
The app calculates:
The exchange rate
A spread applied to the rate
A fee for the conversion
The estimated amount you will receive
Step 2. Redeem quote
After you confirm the quote, the swap is completed.
The app uses the quote ID you received in step 1.
Quote expiry and single-use rules
Quotes expire quickly.
A quote expires after about 5 minutes.
Each quote can be redeemed only once.
If a quote is expired or already redeemed, you must generate a new quote.
Minimum amounts
NGN to crypto or NGN as from currency:
Minimum NGN amount is 1,000
USDT or USDC as from currency:
Minimum stablecoin amount is 1
What to do if you see quote errors
Error: The least naira amount to swap is 1000
Increase the NGN amount and generate a new quote.
Error: The least amount to swap is $1
Increase the USDT or USDC amount to at least 1 and generate a new quote.
Error: Quote is expired, generate a new quote
Generate a new quote and redeem it immediately.
Error: USDT as fromCurrency and USDC as toCurrency not allowed
Choose a supported conversion pair.
