Understanding Liqwifi’s deposit verification process

Verification helps us protect your account and meet regulatory standards. When funds arrive from a new source or in an unusual pattern, our systems may pause the credit until we can confirm legitimacy.

Most deposits clear automatically in seconds. If we need more detail, you will see a clear in-app checklist—usually a one-time document or proof of source of funds.

We never use verification to delay payouts arbitrarily. The goal is faster, safer rails for everyone on the platform.

Think of verification as a narrow gate on a wide road. The vast majority of traffic passes straight through because the signals look familiar: known senders, consistent amounts, and accounts with healthy history.

When something is unfamiliar, we slow down just enough to ask a question. That question is almost always specific: a PDF invoice, a contract, or a short explanation of where funds originated. We avoid vague requests because vague requests waste your time.

Timing matters. Business owners often deposit on Friday afternoons and expect payroll to run Monday. If a deposit triggers review, we prioritize cases with near-term outbound transfers and communicate expected turnaround in plain hours—not “soon.”

We also separate “first-time sender” from “high-risk corridor.” A first-time sender might only need a single confirmation. A corridor with elevated fraud patterns may require stronger evidence even when the sender is legitimate. Transparency is how we keep that fair.

If you are expecting a large inbound transfer, you can reduce surprises by adding the sender to your trusted list in advance and uploading supporting documents proactively. Our team can pre-clear common scenarios so funds land without a pause.

Joint accounts and business treasuries add another layer. We may ask for signatory proof or board resolutions when ownership structures are complex. That is not suspicion—it is alignment with how banks expect funds to be controlled.

Refunds and chargebacks are handled distinctly from normal deposits. If a payment is later disputed, we may adjust balances and notify you immediately with the reason code and next steps. You should never discover a reversal silently.

Privacy is part of the contract. We collect only what regulations and risk models require, store it with modern encryption, and limit internal access to teams who need it for review. You can request a summary of what we hold and how long we retain it.

Finally, verification improves over time. The more successful history your account accumulates, the fewer interruptions you should see—provided activity stays consistent with your profile. Sudden changes in behavior may still trigger checks, because that is how we protect you when it matters most.
